Christophe Galtier has brought good news to Paris Saint-Germain fans ahead of their upcoming UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Bayern Munich.
Fans were left worried after Kylian Mbappe and Sergio Ramos picked up knocks in the Ligue 1 victory against Montpellier, with both players now a doubt for the first-leg tie on February 14.
Galtier has now confirmed that the injuries to both Mbappe and Ramos were not as serious as first feared and that both stars were substituted to manage their workload during a busy schedule, Reuters reports.

“Sergio preferred to leave and not to take risks because of the discomfort he felt in his adductor and concerning Kylian, there was a challenge after a dribble, he took a blow on the knee.
"But also, when you look at the run of games obviously, he can't take any risks because we have a very busy schedule. But apparently, it doesn't seem to be very serious for either player."
PSG will host Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 at the Parc des Princes on February 14 as Europe’s top competition resumes for the knockout phase.

Mbappe, who scored a hat-trick of penalties in the World Cup final, uncharacteristically missed his effort from 12 yards on two occasions.
The 24-year-old had the opportunity to put PSG ahead after just seven minutes, however, his effort was thwarted by Montpellier's goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte.
