Cancelo was handed his competitive debut against Mainz in the DFB-Pokal, less than 24 hours after sealing his shock move from Manchester City.
Making his first bow for the Bavarians, the full-back wasted no time in fully integrating himself into the team's set-up.
Playing in his favourite wing-back role, the 28-year-old served Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting on a plate to break the game's deadlock, per BBC.

His assist for Choupo-Moting's goal opened the floodgates, as Bayern scored three goals in the first half - the first time Julian Nagelsmann's charges had scored more than one goal in their last three games across all competitions.
There was still time for Alphonso Davies to add the icing on the cake as the Bundesliga giants completed a 4-0 rout of Mainz to reach the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal.
