Sports Brief earlier reported that a second-half goal from French striker Randal Kolo Muani let Frankfurt secure a draw at local rivals Mainz on Sunday.

Mainz hit the lead after 40 minutes when German striker Jonathan Burkardt slammed in a loose ball after a save from Frankfurt's Qatar-bound 'keeper Kevin Trapp.

Frankfurt - who have won seven of their past eight - hit back after 67 minutes, when a superb flicked assist from German forward Mario Goetze found its way to Kolo Muani, who slammed the ball home.
