Newcastle United star, Bruno Guimaraes has a chance of playing against Manchester United in the final of the Carabao Cup at Wembley Stadium, despite picking up a red card against Southampton.
The midfielder was handed his marching orders for a horror tackle on Samuel Edozie, during their second-leg semi-final meeting of the tournament.
Guimaraes was set off with eight minutes left on the clock, with referee Paul Tierney initially consulting VAR before he brandished the red card.
The Brazilian star's red card came at a time when Newcastle had put one foot in the final of the Carabao Cup.

The Magpies went on to secure a 2-1 win over the Saints, to book their spot in the final on a 3-1 win aggregate.
Will Guimaraes play vs United?
There were initial fears about the possibility of Guimaraes not playing in the Carabao Cup final, in the wake of his red card.
However, The Sun reports the 25-year-old still has a chance of facing United in the final, because his suspension counts across all the domestic competitions in the English top flight.
With the final set to be played on Sunday, February 26, Guimaraes has a realistic chance of lining up against United at Wembley.

FootballHowever, the midfielder will miss his side's upcoming three fixtures, including Premier League games against West Ham, Bournemouth and Liverpool.
Man United qualify for final
Elsewhere, Man United booked a place in the Carabao Cup final after seeing off Nottingham Forest in the final.
The Red Devils hammered Nottingham 5-0 on aggregate to sail through, with the return leg played at Old Trafford ending in a 2-0 win.
Two second-half goals from Anthony Martial and Fred were enough to help Erik ten Hag's men reach the final of the tournament.
