  • Gabriel Magalhaes fired back at Bruno Fernandes after helping Arsenal to a huge EPL victory
  • The two players had minor confrontations in the game with the Gunner having the last laugh
  • The Premier League leaders left it late to bag all three points and restore the lead to five points

Arsenal defender, Gabriel Magalhaes rubbed in his side's latest victory with a cryptic post on social media. Fans believe the message was targeted at Manchester United's attacking midfielder, Bruno Fernandes.

Magalhaes played an integral role to help the Gunners beat the Red Devils 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium, with the Brazilian defender having multiple run-ins with the opposition's stand-in captain en route to a monumental win.

The win leaves Arsenal five points clear of Manchester City with a game in hand. Mikel Arteta's side has gone from strength to strength and has silenced doubters, as hope continues to rise that they might win their first Premier League title since the historic 2004 season.

What Gabriel Magalhaes said

Magalhaes posted a picture of him standing over Fernandes on Instagram and wrote:

"YESSS... There's no victory, without a fight. Come on you gunners. Thank God."

He then went to Twitter and added:

"Blablablabla...."

Fernandes has always been on the spot for throwing tantrums about opposition players with match officials.

Fans have expressed certainty that Magalhaes's social media posts were intended to throw shade at the United midfielder.

Saka's dig at Marcus Rashford

At the same time, fans are sharply divided on the Bukayo Saka's choice of celebration after scoring a stunner against Man United, Sports Brief has reported.

He scored the second goal to give Arsenal the lead, after Eddie Nketiah had cancelled out Marcus Rashford's beautiful opener. The 21-year-old was allowed to weave his way to the edge of the penalty area, before unleashing a ferocious shot which flew past a scampering David de Gea.

After his ninth goal in nine straight games, Saka then dashed towards the corner flag pointing to his temple, as Rashford has done since the World Cup break.
