However, Get Football German News reports that the deal between the club and the player has since collapsed.

Steven Gerrard to be brutally snubbed from top managerial job because of "lack of experience"
FootballUnion's Sporting Director, Oliver Ruhnert explained that there were contradictions in the previous agreement between the two sides.
“We would have liked to have seen Isco with us, but we have our limits! These were exceeded today, contrary to the previous agreement, so the transfer does not take place.”
Isco's agents were also upset with the way the negotiations went, but seemed to lay the blame on Union, Football Espana reported.
“In the course of the talks, we had to realise that our negotiating partner was no longer willing to move within the framework originally discussed with us,” the player's agency stated.
The former Madrid man remains a free agent, having left Sevilla in December 2022. As a free agent, Isco can be signed after the transfer window officially closes, but no other sides have expressed an interest in his services.

FootballRB Leipzig were linked with a move for the player at one stage, but the German club have also pulled out of the running.
Earlier Sports Brief reported on Isco being close to joining Bundesliga side, Union Berlin this season.
The Spanish striker is currently a free agent after he and Sevilla parted ways in December last year.
Isco has landed in Berlin and will undergo his medicals, before the move to the German side is finalised.
