Some of the spectators who attended the DStv Premiership match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United last Saturday had their day soured.
They reportedly returned to their vehicles to find they had either been broken into and burglarised, or vandalised by miscreants who were on the prowl outside Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Tshwane.
A video on Twitter near the venue showed these cars in various states of disrepair.
From what Sports Brief observed, the main targeted vehicle make was Volkswagen, which has a roaring black market trade for parts across the country.

On the field of play, the defending champions ruthlessly marched on to their record-extending sixth consecutive league title, with a 2-0 over their game visitors.
Goals from Peter Shalulile in the 50th minute and Cassius Mailula's 82nd-minute winner proved to be the difference on the afternoon.
This was Sundowns' 14th league win in a row, which is another record extension.

Orlando Pirates midfield maestro, Vincent Pule survived a hijacking and kidnapping incident that happened in Johannesburg last August.
Pule was driving in his black BMW when the incident happened, according to unconfirmed reports.

A syndicate selling fake match tickets is reportedly making a killing from their activities, Sports Brief also reported.
In November, at the Carling Black Label Cup game held at Soccer City, around 7 500 fake tickets were on sale outside the venue.
Stadium Management South Africa CEO, Bertie Grobbelaar and a journalist said they observed scalpers selling the duplicates.
