According to Goal, his attackers made off with his cellphone.

An angry Kerr tweeted:

"Anyone who points a gun at you, please don't fight back, the cowards can f*ck off and die. I'm a small % of what's happening; it’s an utter disgrace not just for me but for millions who have had this done to them. It's a massive wake-up call for me to never again trust anyone."

2022 has been a wretched year for Kerr. In September, Moroka Swallows parted ways with Kerr after a poor run of results, as per The Citizen.

All of this came after he had been stuck in an impasse with the Department of Home Affairs, which had been denying him a work permit. He was forced to sit in the stands, forced to watch the Birds struggle to get their season going without him.

Orlando Pirates midfield maestro Vincent Pule survived a hijacking and kidnapping incident that happened in Johannesburg in August.

Pule was driving in his black BMW when the incident happened, according to unconfirmed reports.

It was reported that several other items were taken from the 30-year-old during the ordeal.
