Ghana midfielder, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has named Brazilian forward, Neymar Junior as his childhood hero, stating he watched and learned from the PSG star.
Kyereh, who plays for Freiburg in the Bundesliga, is loved by Ghanaians for his contributions to the Black Stars since making his debut in September 2021.
The 26-year-old represented Ghana at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup in 2022.
Although his career has been affected by niggling injuries which have left him with limited game time, Kyereh has shown commitment anytime he wears the Black Stars jersey.

FootballBorn in Ghana, he moved to Germany at a very young age and his career took time to kick off. However, he went from playing in the Bundesliga III to the German top flight within three years.
Kyereh confessed that most of his skills were from watching YouTube videos of Neymar.
“It’s Neymar Jr,” he told Pulse after he was asked about his favourite player. “The first time saw him when he played for Santos at his first club in Brazil, he was 16 years and around that time and I was 12 years old."
Kyereh said it was the Paris Saint-Germain star's style that he loved most, as well as the enjoyment the Ghanaian had watching him in action.
“Since then, I always checked on YouTube for new skill videos of him playing football. I will get my ball and meet with friends or alone to learn the dribbling skills he did in the videos."

FootballKyereh joined Freiburg from Bundesliga II side, St Pauli in the summer transfer window after almost leading the Browns back in the German top tier.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Kyereh revealing that Brazilian icon, Ronaldinho ranks top of his list of best players.
The Ghana and SC Freiburg star admires the former Barcelona midfielder and tries to carve his style of play in his image.
Kyereh has been on a run of good form in recent games, scoring in back-to-back matches for the Bundesliga side.
