  • Bukayo Saka has finally agreed to a new long-term deal at Arsenal
  • The English youngster is now said to be the club's best-paid player
  • Saka joins Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey in Arsenal's top 10 list

Arsenal have often been known for being modest in the transfer market.

Despite being a top-six club endowed with resources, the Gunners rarely 'overbid' or 'overpay' for their targets.

The club announced that Bukayo Saka had agreed to a new long-term deal on May 23, putting to rest the uncertainity around the talented youngster's immediate future.

Sport Bible now reports that Saka's new deal will see him earn close to 288,000 euros per week (plus bonuses) which essentially means he will be the club's best-paid player.

Sports Brief took a look at Arsenal's best-paid players after Leandro Trossard's arrival in January and Saka's new deal, as captured by GMS.

The Belgian will take home 90,000 euros weekly, but Saka's and Martinelli's new deals have displaced him from the top 10.

Jesus, Partey lead Arsenal's earners

Before Saka's new contract, Gabriel Jesus was the best-paid player after the former Manchester City striker agreed to a 265,000 euros weekly wage.

He beat the second person on the list, Thomas Partey, by a distance. The Ghanaian earns 200,000 euros weekly.

Saka's new deal takes him above and beyond both players. Gabriel Martinelli also recently agreed to a new contract which is believed to earn him around 180,000 euros weekly and thus, he is fourth on the list.

Oleksandr Zinchenko will now come in fifth with 150,000 euros, while Ben White and Granit Xhaka are both at 120,000 euros.
