Former Premier League footballer, Greg Halford recently gained some attention on social media after he decided to toss out his ex’s items out of his house over alleged infidelity.

The ex-player shared a video on Twitter where he discarded a number of boxes, with a child’s bike among the items seen scattered across his garden in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

In his caption, Halford shared feelings towards his former partner to his 43000 followers, saying:

"Been far, far too long but finally clearing out the cheating [expletive] ex stuff."

The video elicited mixed feelings on social media, as some people were impressed by his stunt, while others urged him to have some self-respect.

According to The Sun, the 38-year old currently plays for Hashtag United in the Isthmian League North Division. The club is owned by Spencer Owen, a famous YouTube star.

Known for his versatility on the pitch, Halford has played for a number of clubs in the past in varying positions including in defence and the midfield.

He made 29 appearances in the Premier League, having stints with Reading, Sunderland and Wolves.

Reports claim the ex who allegedly cheated on Halford is a Mercedes-Benz executive known as Kirsty Goh.

The pair reportedly split more than 14 months ago, and the property had been empty for nearly a year before Halford decided to clear it out a few days ago.
