  • Former Love Island star Dani Dyer made a delightful announcement on her Instagram
  • Dyer, who is dating West Ham star Jarrod Bowen, is expecting twins with the forward
  • The two confirmed their relationship in 2021 after Dyer broke things off with her ex partner Sammy Kimmence

West Ham star Jarrod Bowen scored twice, just a day after his partner Dani Dyer announce the couple are expecting twins.

It was an interesting coincidence for Bowen, who has been dating Dyer, a reality TV star known for winning Love Island in 2018.

Dyer made the announcement on her Instagram on Friday, January 20 as she shared snaps of her scans along with the caption:

The 26-year-old has a son Santiago, who she conceived with her ex Sammy Kimence.

In one of the photos on social media, Santiago holds up a board with the message: “I’m going to be a big brother to twins”.

She did not share her due date, but it is highly likely she will give birth in the summer.

A little about Dani Dyer

Fans of the popular reality TV Show Love Island will be all too familiar with Dani Dyer, who appeared on the show in 2018.

As reported on Sky News, she is the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, and shot to fame courtesy of the reality TV show, which she won with Jack Fincham, who is now her ex.

2 for Bowen, in and out of the pitch

The thought of welcoming twins will be a welcome one for Bowen, whose club West Ham are embroiled in a tough relegation battle in the Premier League.

David Moyes’ side came up against Everton just a day after the twins announcement in a relegation six-pointer, and it was Bowen who proved to be the difference for his side.

The England scored twice in seven first-half minutes to condemn Everton to another defeat in the Premier League.

West Ham climbed to 15th thanks to the win, one point off the relegation places with a large chunk of the season still to go.

Club releases statement after player joins Love Island

Sports Brief also earlier reported on a statement from non league side Macclesfield Town after their star player joined Love Island.

The television show kicked off again on January 16, and there are set to be a few changes in the second winter version of the programme.

Love Island, through an official Instagram account, released a teaser of what fans could expect for the new season - and followers of the non-league division one would have been familiar with Macclesfield midfielder Tom Clare, who is part of the cast.
