Spanish giants Barcelona have completed the capture of Argentine teenager Lucas Roman from Ferro Carril.
The 18-year-old joined the Catalan giants in a deal worth 1.2 million euros and that includes a 400m buyout clause.
The promising left-footed attacking player is expected to slot into Barcelona's youth squad before being ushered into the first team.
Roman compared to Messi
Roman's ex-club president, Daniel Pandolfi sees similarities between the youngster and Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.

Lucas Roman has a lot of similarities to Leo Messi. The Barca scouts saw that. Obviously he's not at Messi's level yet, but he has similar characteristics," Pandolfi said, via GOAL.
Who is Lucas Roman?
Born in Caballito neighborhood of Buenos Aires on February 10, 2004, Roman started his career at Club Ferro's youth academy at the age of seven.
He later graduated to the senior team, where he notched three goals and provided one assist in Argentina's second tier.
The prodigy has already played for Argentina's youth sides under the tutelage of former Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano.
The left-footed player, who operates more comfortably from the right just like Messi, expressed his excitement about sealing his switch to Barcelona.
"I'm very excited and I'm going to give my best," Lucas Roman told Barcelona's official media, via Marca.
