Neymar Junior, 2019

While playing for Barcelona in 2016, Neymar Junior was accused by a female Nike employee of sexual assault. The lady revealed that the Paris Saint-Germain star forced her to perform oral intercourse with him, Marca claims. That led to Nike terminating its endorsement deal with the Brazilian playmaker in 2020, according to Bleacher Report.

A year after he signed for PSG, a French model also disclosed that Neymar forcefully slept with her in a hotel in Paris.

Robinho, 2013

Robinho was a star winger for Brazil who also played for Real Madrid, Manchester City and AC Milan. The diminutive playmaker was once described as the future of football by Brazilian great Pele, but he now faces the next nine years behind bars.

Back in 2013, when he was plying his trade with AC Milan, Robinho allegedly engaged in a gang assault of a young girl in a club in Italy. He was convicted alongside the group who were all charged with the crime.

Robinho was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2017.

Cuca Alexi Stival, 1987

The current Atlético Mineiro coach was convicted of assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Switzerland in 1987. The 59-year-old was then playing for Brazilian side Gremio de Porto Alegre.

Be Soccer reports that Cuca, and three other teammates, assaulted the teenager at the team's hotel. The report further states that Cuca, who was convicted in absentia in 1989, never served his 15-month prison sentence.

Dani Alves imprisoned without bail

Sports Brief earlier reported that Dani Alves has been provisionally detained in prison without bail after being accused of assaulting a lady in a Barcelona nightclub in December 2022.

The 39-year-old defender was arrested by Spanish police on Friday, January 20, and has been remanded in prison after being heard by a judge.

Alves will be confined to prison until the outcome of his trial is determined after public prosecutors asked the presiding judge for Alves to be held in custody without bail for the duration of their investigation.

The former Barcelona and PSG defender has denied any allegations of wrongdoing since his arrest and he insists he has never invaded the space of the alleged victim.
