A fan, who is said to have followed Alvarez's career since his days at River Plate raised a placard asking for the striker's shorts. Yes, you read that right. Shorts, not shirt. And the World Cup winner obliged creating a rare scene in the football world.
Alvarez starred for Argentina last month as they won the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Head Coach Lionel Scaloni used him as his main striker for the larger part of the tournament.
