Arsenal missed out on their priority summer signing, Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk despite courting the player for months and being ready to pay the club's valuation of £88m for the player.
They were usurped by their London rivals Chelsea who moved quickly last Saturday and completed the move, offering better payment structure to Shakhtar Donetsk and also offering the player better personal terms.
The Gunners are not dwelling much on it as they move to strengthen their squad as their title aspirations continue. They have now turned to Brighton for out of favour winger, Leandro Trossard.

As revealed by reliable transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Arsenal is in talks with Brighton for the transfer of the 27-year-old and have already agreed personal terms with him.
