- Al-Nassr are reportedly trying to acquire Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain
- The Costa Rica shot-stopper has been relegated to the sub bench in recent months
- Navas played at Real Madrid with Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Saudi Arabia
The rumours have become rife after Al-Nassr’s number one, David Ospina suffered a season-ending injury.
Cristiano Ronaldo could now be set for a reunion with a former teammate, as Keylor Navas has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia giants.
The Portuguese star seems to have opened a door to the Saudi Arabia top flight league for more big names in football, since his move to the club towards the end of 2022.
According to latest reports from Spanish outlet Marca, Al-Nassr have a keen eye on Navas, especially amid the potential long-term absence of David Ospina.

Ospina sustained an elbow injury and according to The Mirror, he is set to be on the sidelines for the long haul. This has inevitably placed Rudi Garcia’s side in the market for a new goalkeeper, and Navas has been seen as the perfect replacement.
The PSG man will possibly be in Saudi Arabia next week for the clash involving his club and the Saudi All-Stars team, which will likely include Ronaldo.
Since the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma in 2021, Navas has lost his place between the posts for PSG, and has mostly been tasked with being the cup goalkeeper.
However, he has a contract running until 2023, and it is highly unlikely he will forego his wages to join Al-Nassr soon, since the Saudi Arabian giants are not expected to match his current pay.
Another goalkeeper under consideration is Al-Wehda shot-stopper Munir Mohamedi.
With Ospina in goal, Al-Nassr have conceded the fewest goals in the Saudi top tier this season - just six.
