Cristiano Ronaldo has intensified his workout ahead of his highly-anticipated debut for Al-Nassr.

The 37-year-old former Man United forward was presented to a sellout crowd at the Mrsool Park earlier this week after he sealed a sensational move to the Saudi top flight.

He was expected to wear the yellow and blue colours of his new side on Friday, January 6 against Al Taee however a two-game ban slapped on him by the English FA denied him his immediate debut.

Despite the disappointment, Al-Nassr managed to pick all three points while also climbing to the top spot of the league in the process, MARCA reports.

Meanwhile, according to GOAL, CR7 will be available on Al-Nassr's January 22 game against Al-Ettifaq.

Ahead of the much-awaited debut, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has stepped up his preparations and readiness by hitting the gym to intensify his workout.

Ronaldo's Al-Nassr debut revealed

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo could make his Saudi Arabian debut on January 22 after he was successfully registered by new team Al Nassr, a club source told AFP on Saturday.

Ronaldo, who was unveiled to fans this week, joined the squad list after Al Nassr terminated Manchester United-linked striker Vincent Aboubakar to stay within the maximum eight foreign nationals stipulated by the Saudi league.

He will now be available for the January 22 home game against Ettifaq after completing a two-match ban issued in November for smashing a fan's mobile phone while playing for Manchester United.

The 37-year-old has been given a rapturous welcome in Saudi Arabia, after signing a two-year deal worth 175 million pounds with Al-Nassr.

The father-of-five and girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez have already touched down in the Islamic country, where the ex-Manchester United star was presented by his new club.
