FootballMykhailo Mudryk: Chelsea Owner Todd Boehly Aims Subtle Dig at Mason Mount After Arrival of Arsenal Target
- Chelsea owner Todd Boehly was spotted liking a tweet slandering embattled star Mason Mount
- Mount's recent performances for the club have put him on the receiving end of criticism by fans
- Boehly interacting with the tweet came hours after Mykhailo Mudryk's purchase was finalised
Mykhailo Mudryk is currently settling into his new surroundings in West London after sealing a huge move from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Chelsea beat Arsenal to the signature of the Ukrainian and unveiled him officially to the home support on January 15, during half-time of the Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
But even before the dust settled on Chelsea's latest recruit, Chelsea co-controlling owner, Todd Boehly appeared to throw shade on Mason Mount.
Mount has come under sharp criticism in recent times, following Graham Potter's side's poor run of form. The midfielder has been blasted for his lack of ingenuity, with his standing among the Blues' social media fan base taking a tumble.

Boehly, through his official and verified Twitter account, did not make things easier for the England international, after he liked a tweet that was trolling Mount.
The tweet, from user @AlexisIsKavkas, shows a video of legendary Arsenal forward, Thierry Henry during his days as Montreal Impact's Head Coach.
Henry is seen asking his side to adopt a one-touch style of passing to keep the game moving, but a player fails to do so and Henry is livid.
The video was captioned:
"Mudryk to Mason Mount when another counter-attack breaks down."
Boehly liked the tweet before unliking it moments later, but the reaction had already been captured. The American was also spotted attending to the Twitter spaces of Chelsea fans, where he was 'advised' on the kind of players he needs to bring in.
