FootballCasemiro reveals the game that made him want to come and 'fix' Manchester United
- Casemiro watched first-hand how Manchester United collapsed against Brentford earlier in the season
- That was the game that made the midfielder see the need to move to Old Trafford to help the team
- The Brazilian has been a revelation since his summer move, and has brought stability to the team’s midfield
Casemiro felt the need to join Manchester United after watching the 4-0 capitulation against Brenford in the opening stages of the league season.
Under new manager Erik Ten Hag, United made the worst possible start to a league campaign as an opening 2-1 defeat by Brighton was followed by a more humiliating mauling at the hands of Brentford.
On August 13, the Red Devils completely collapsed in the first half as goals from Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee and Bryan Mbeumo gave Brentford a 4-0 lead after just 35 minutes.
His side succumbed to what was an embarrassing defeat that confirmed 0 points in their opening two games.

According to Daily Telegraph, Casemiro, who signed for United for £60million, was determined to sign for the Red Devils once he saw the task that awaited him at Old Trafford.
The report further states that Casemiro immediately texted his agent 'Tell them [United] I'll fix this’, and a move was sealed days later.
According to Casemiro’s close confidants, he is loving life at United, and has 'never been this comfortable or happy in his career.' Despite winning several Champions League titles with Real Madrid.
He is currently an integral part of Manchester United, who are competing in four competitions so far this season including the Carabao Cup, where they are in the semis.

FootballHow much will Chelsea pay for Joao Felix red card?
Sports Brief also earlier reported on the costly implications Joao Felix’s red card will have on the club’s finances.
Felix was sent off as Chelsea succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Fulham on Thursday, January 12.
Chelsea has 20 remaining fixtures in the Premier League, which means Felix can only play in 17 games - if he stays fit and is selected by Graham Potter.
If one takes his £9-million loan fee and divides that by the number of matches he is eligible for, Chelsea will technically be paying Atletico Madrid £500,000 per game.
