- The on-loan star made several runs in an attempt to complete a one-two with his team
Joao Felix may have to alter his style of play quite a bit for the next few months, if a training clip of him in Chelsea colours is anything to go by.
The Portugal international completed a loan move to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, January 11, after signing a contract extension with Atletico Madrid until 2027.
Chelsea parted ways with about £9.7-million for the loan transfer, and will be responsible for Joao Felix’s wages, which stand at £270,000 a week.
Soon after the loan move was completed, Felix was already training with the first team in preparation for the Premier League game against Fulham on Thursday.

In a clip doing the rounds online, the Portuguese star seemingly got a first-hand taste of the club’s struggles as early as during the training session.
The 23-year-old looked sharp in the clip, but it was clear he was not on the same wavelength as his teammates, who severally times failed to play an obvious one-two with him.
Fans react to the footage:

@crazychessfreak added:
“I still blame Tuchel for making it okay to always pass the ball backwards for this players. 'Always build from the back' he said. Now look how pathetic the entire team look”

Felix Chelsea’s best despite red
How Ronaldo's United exit cost him a move to his preferred clubs
FootballAs expected, Felix was given the nod to start in the Premier League encounter against Fulham, Sports Brief also reported.
But he had a nightmare debut as he got sent off after 58 minutes for a rash challenge, with Chelsea going on to lose 2-1 against their fellow Londoners.
However, stats show Felix was the brightest man as he had more take-ons and shots, including those on target, than anyone.
Chelsea: 'The hits keep coming'
Graham Potter was extremely frustrated at Felix's red card, as he lamented on his side’s poor fortunes in recent weeks.
Following the latest Chelsea signing being given his marching orders, he will have to sit out three games for the struggling Londoners.
Potter admitted he understood why Felix was shown red, but expressed disappointment as the young loanee had already shown his quality on the pitch.
