Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Everton are having a difficult time under former Chelsea player turned manager, Frank Lampard.

The club currently sits in the relegation zone of the Premier League table and is also out of two domestic cup competitions.

Nigerian attacker, Alex Iwobi has been at the centre of the few positives the club has enjoyed this season, having rediscovered himself under the former Derby manager despite joining the club in 2019.

The Liverpool-based club are now set to be without the former Arsenal man for the rest of the month, after he was injured against Manchester United on Friday. Everton were handed a 3-1 beating by the Red Devils.
