Noel Le Graet has stepped down as the president of the French Football Federation hours after making a comment against former France international Zinedine Zidane.
The likes of Kylian Mbappe and other French players were against statement made by Graet who claimed that he won't pick Zidane's call if he should call him.
There were talks about Zidane getting a coaching job in Brazil before Graet stated that the former Real Madrid gaffer did not call him and that he won't even answer.
Graet's comments means that he did not want anything to do with Zidane and that caused trouble for the 81-year-old.

According to the latest report from the French Football Federation on their site, they made it clear that Graet chose to withdraw his position.
Statement made by FFF
"Noël Le Graët, in agreement with the Executive Committee of the FFF meeting today in Paris, has chosen to withdraw from his duties as President of the Federation until the final communication of the audit carried out by the Ministry of Sports, and awaiting its analysis by the Comex of the FFF.''
He became the president in June 2011 and led the French national team to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
