Embattled Chelsea Head Coach Graham Potter showed his tetchy side as he addressed reporters ahead of his side's FA Cup match against Manchester City.
Potter is currently facing intense scrutiny with Chelsea's woeful run putting his immediate future in doubt. He faces Pep Guardiola's side for the second time in four days after a narrow 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
The English manager has been accused by a section of Chelsea fans for not showing gut and the required passion to lead a top-six club. Potter's post-match comments after humiliating performances have always rubbed the Chelsea folklore the wrong way.
But in his presser before on January 7th, Potter slammed journalists for asking 'stupid' questions. He then explained why he has never been abrasive on the touchline as is usually the case with other managers.

"There is stuff that happens but my responsibility when I come to you is to speak as respectfully as I can, even if some of your questions are stupid! I’ve got to answer them as best as I can and respectfully as I can because I represent a fantastic football club."
When asked whether he could face the sack, he responded;
"I’m not sure. I don’t think I would have got the sack at Brighton, which is a well-run club. I can’t comment on the others. I’ve no idea what people would do," as quoted by Football London.

The Aubameyang conudrum
Sports Brief had earlier reported that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's decline has to be one of the saddest things in football so far in 2023. The Chelsea striker has fallen off the paces, looking like a shadow of his former self under Graham Potter.
He started the game vs Manchester City on January 5th on the bench but was called into action early after Raheem Sterling picked up an injury in the 5th minute.
The Gabonese striker failed to impact the game with Kai Havertz looking like the potential threat to Manchester City's backline. After Riyad Mahrez put City ahead, Potter withdrew Aubameyang and threw on teenager Omari-Giraud Hutchinson.
