The Brazilian playmaker made his first appearance for Les Parisiens following his country's elimination in the World Cup quarter-finals.

He made an instant impact on his return, providing a tailor-measured cross for Marquinhos to break the game's deadlock.

However, Neymar's evening quickly switched him from hero to villain in a space of two second-half minutes.

He first received a caution after he caught Adrien Thomasson in the face, while trying to escape the midfielder’s relentless pressing in the 61st minute.

The 30-year-old former Barcelona attacker got himself in further trouble a minute later when he was found guilty of diving in the box, in a bid to simulate a penalty, per GOAL.
