Ronaldo’s medical at Saudi club

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Cristiano Ronaldo is edging closer to completing his move to Saudi Arabia as Al-Nassr is said to have scheduled a medical for the 37-year-old Portugal star.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner left Manchester United in controversial circumstances after blasting the club in an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Al-Nassr have scheduled a medical, plus booked accommodation for Ronaldo and his advisors as they hope to seal a deal in January.

If the Portugal star accepts Al- Nassr's offer, he will make £62 million, but image rights and other endorsements could raise this sum to over £173 million annually.
