The Catalan giants are determined not to lose the 28-year-old winger for free with his contract set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season and will therefore sell him in January.
Depay prefers to see out his contract at Barcelona and assess his options at a later date, but Barcelona will push for a €15m fee with Premier League clubs tracking him.
Tottenham interested in signing Depay
Meanwhile, Tottenham has spoken to Memphis Depay’s representatives ahead of a potential deal for the out-of-favour Barcelona winger in January, Give Me Sport reports.
The North London club hopes to edge the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal in the race to sign the Netherlands World Cup star.
If the deal for Depay goes through for Tottenham, the 28-year-old forward could provide cover for both Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in the Spurs attack.

It is the second consecutive season Barca has failed to reach the knockout stages after also falling short in the 2021/22 season in Xavi’s first few weeks as manager.
