The Spaniard had two spells in the Premier League, playing for Arsenal from 2003 to 2011 and Chelsea from 2014 to 2019. Between, he played for Barcelona before being signed by the Blues under Mourinho.

The trio of Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez dominated the Premier League and won two consecutive leagues together - in 2007/08 and 2008/09 - before Ronaldo went to Madrid and Tevez to Manchester City, GiveMeSport reports.

Jose Mourinho won three league titles with Chelsea, one of which Fabregas played a vital part in - the 2014/15 league winning season - scoring three goals and providing 19 assists, according to Transfermarkt.

Fabregas recommends Olmo to Chelsea

Sports Brief earlier reported on Fabregas recommending Spaniard Dani Olmo as the player he would sign for Chelsea with their current system under Graham Potter.

The Blues have already signed Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig and are looking at Rafael Leao from AC Milan, but Fabregas feels they should rather keep looking to the Bundesliga side.

Josko Gvardiol is another RB Leipzig player on the radar of the Londoners, who will face a difficult battle with Real Madrid and Manchester City if they want to sign him.
