Ahmed Al Barwani who is a member of parliament in Oman has offered Argentina international Lionel Messi the sum of $1m for the Bisht he wore during World Cup trophy celebration.
Following Argentina's win over France in the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Messi was given a Bisht to wear on the podium before taking the trophy to his teammate.
It was an awesome moment for the Paris Saint-Germain forward who has now lifted the World Cup for the first time in his career.
According to the report on GOAL, Barwani wants the garment worn by Messi to remain in the Middle East and he is ready to pay massive amount.

Statement made by Barwani
“From the Sultanate of Oman, I congratulate you for winning the World Cup Qatar 2022, the Arabic Bisht, a symbol of chivalry and wisdom. I'm offering you $1 million in return for that Bisht.''
The ball is now in Messi's court, and it is either he takes the money form him to return the Bisht or not.
Messi is currently back in his hometown, Rosario, and he is expected to spend more few days before returning to France.
