France scored two goals in one minute to take the game to extra-time, Kylian Mbappe netted a hattrick, three penalties being awarded, and the game eventually being decided on a penalty shootout.
Ronaldo's sister, Katia Aveiro, was however not impressed with the tournament even though she enjoyed the pulsating final.
"The worst World Cup of all time... that thankfully gave us a great final. What a match. Congratulations to Argentina," she wrote on Instagram, via Mirror Sports.
Katia Aveiro heaped praises on Mbappe after scoring three goals against Argentina.
She added: "This kid is unreal," she said of Mbappe. Such a brilliant future awaits you. Incredible."
