Kylian Mbappe has broken his silence following France's heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Argentina on December 18.
France relinquished their world title to the South Americans after a thrilling game, that had to be settled on post-match penalties at the Lusail Stadium.
Despite Mbappe's best efforts, Argentina's goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez came up supreme in the shootouts, saving from Kingsley Coman with Aurelien Tchoumaneni missing another.

Messi thought he had won the game for his side in the second half of extra time, only for Mbappe to step up again and equalise from the penalty spot and bag his hat-trick.
The striker has since taken to his social media accounts with a defiant message of 'we will return.' At only 23 years of age, he is expected to play in a couple more World Cups in future.
However, he did bag the Golden Boot after he finished with eight goals, one better than his PSG teammate Messi.
Mbappe inconsolable after final defeat
Sports Brief had earlier reported that Mbappe was an emotional picture, as he sat alone shortly after the 2022 World Cup final at the Lusail Stadium.
France were unable to see off a clinical Argentina side during the final of the global football showpiece on Sunday, December 18, as Les Bleus failed to successfully defend the crown.
