Messi sends fans message

Messi has now sent fans a vital message just hours before the clash, declaring that he 'is ready.'

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner posted his message to his more than 390 million Instagram followers.

"I’m ready. Let’s go, Argentina!! #ImpossibleIsNothing," the star forward captioned a photo of himself in an Argentina kit.

Messi's message came at a time he will be expected to lead La Albiceleste to glory.

The 35-year-old has played a pivotal part in the team's impressive campaign, scoring an incredible five goals and setting up four others.

The five goals have him tied with France's Kylian Mbappe as the leading goalscorers at the tournament.

Aguero and Messi reunite before final

Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero are best friends and have been roommates with the national team since their U20 days until Aguero was forced to retire due to a heart condition.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Messi invited his friend to join him as roommate once more ahead of the big day. He has not had a roommate since last year's Copa America.

The former Manchester City striker signed for Barcelona because of his friend but financial situation at Camp Nou meant he left for PSG, they never played together.
