How did the game end?

France started the encounter impressively and waited for only five minutes to take the lead, through Theo Hernandez.

The Moroccans missed some scoring chances in the first and second half, and would only have themselves to blame for losing the game.

Muani scored the second goal for Les Bleus in the 79th minute, to set up a World Cup final encounter against Argentina.

Mbappe shows hunger for title

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how France star Kylian Mbappe showed his desire to win another World Cup, after reacting to his side's victory over Morocco in the semi-final.

Goals on either side of half time ensured the reigning world champions reached the Mundial finals for two successive years.

Mbappe has been France's main man at the tournament in Qatar, leading the goal scoring charts with five goals from six games.

After the match on Wednesday evening, the Paris Saint-Germain forward took to social media to share his excitement.
