British broadcaster Piers Morgan is banking his hopes on France upstaging Lionel Messi's Argentina in the finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Argentina booked their sixth World Cup final on the back of a resounding 3-0 victory over Croatia and will be aiming to win the Mundial for the first time since 1986 on Sunday, December 18.

Despite the Morocco hurdle, Morgan, who is a staunch Cristiano Ronaldo fan, believes France will reach the finals and eventually defend their trophy, ending Messi's World Cup ambition.
