The socialite revealed that OBO will be heading to Qatar and will entertain guests at the Lusail Stadium on December 18.
Davido was earlier touted to perform during the global showpiece, but the Nigerian singer missed out due to tragic personal reasons.
Fans in Nigeria and beyond have been concerned following the death of Davido’s son Ifeanyi, who passed away on November 1, according to Economic Times.

Since then, the music sensation has stayed away from public glare, with his only appearance coming on November 27 when his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke was inaugurated as the governor of Osun State, Channels reports.
As the world continues to anticipate his blockbuster return to music, Davido’s ‘bestie’, Cubana Chief Priest (real name Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu) hinted that the Damiduro crooner will help wrap up the global football spectacle.
Cubana shared a clip of himself and the singer chilling as he added the caption:
“FIFA World Cup 2022. Am so excited for Africa. Bestie mi Davido FIFA boy. OBO Is Coming, Joy Is Coming. It’s time 4 Africa."
