Give Me Sport reported that Walker snubbed Mbappe in the tunnel while the teams were still lining up for the game.
What happened between the duo?
Video footage showed Mbappe approaching Walker before the game and attempting to shake his hand. After a period of time, Mbappe awkwardly withdrew his hand and walked away laughing.

SportBible reported that many believed Henderson was the culprit at first, but that it was indeed Walker.
Much hype before the game
There was much discussion over whether Walker would be able to handle Mbappe during the encounter. The defender even promised that he would not make things easy for the Paris Saint-Germain attacker.
How did Walker perform?
Despite France's win, Mbappe didn't get onto the score sheet. He played a big part in Aurelien Tchouameni's opening goal, though. He also got the better of Walker in a footrace during the game but didn't dominate the England defender like many assumed he would.

When Kane blazed the penalty over the bar, Mbappe, the current top scorer at the World Cup, celebrated wildly, knowing the job was almost done.
In a video shared on Twitter, the 23-year-old was full of unbridled joy as he yelled and posed as if he had scored a match-winning goal.
