Mbappe's ominous warning

According to the Mirror, Mbappe delivered a passionate speech during a press conference in Qatar after they beat Poland.

He brilliantly explained what the World Cup means to him, calling it his obsession and the competition of his dreams.

"I have built my entire season around this competition; I have prepared myself to the fullest both physically and mentally to win it, which is the goal I have set for myself, although it is still far away. The only goal is to win the World Cup, the rest is secondary."

England and France last played in 2017, and Les Bleus emerged victorious with a comprehensive 3-2 win.

Surprisingly, the two nations have met just twice in 10 years. Their last competitive meeting was at the Euro 2004, which France won 2-1.

Mbppe versus Walker

Sports Brief earlier reported on former England international Theo Walcott claiming Kyle Walker can stop Mbappe.

The Southampton winger said Walker can stop Mbappe, adding that Walker's physicality will make things harder for the French magician.

On his day, Walcott was probably the fastest players in the Premier League and played against Walker several times. Therefore, he knows a thing or two about facing Walker.

Mbappe in Budweiser row

Sports Brief has also reported that Mbappe refused to promote Budweiser, a major sponsor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Budweiser is in charge of picking and awarding the man of the match after the games and so far, Mbappe has picked up three in Qatar.

He was voted the best player during France's group games against Australia and Denmark.
