The Nigeria Football Federation appointed Peseiro in May after Augustine Eguavoen resigned following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the global showpiece.
The Portuguese tactician seems to be having a lovely time in Qatar, as he has managed to win just two games since he was appointed the Super Eagles coach.
His two wins have come in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone (2-1) and Sao Tome and Principe (10-0) out of 6 games.

Soccernet reports that Peseiro decided to put all of his concerns aside for a positive mood after losing four games against Mexico, Ecuador, Algeria, Costa Rica, and Portugal while winning only two of his previous six games.
He shared pictures of himself in several match venues in Qatar, having seen the round of 16 tie between France and Poland at the Al Thumama Stadium and the play between England and Senegal at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
To restore the national team’s golden days, the former Venezuelan coach must put in more effort.
