Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi are back to being buddies after a minor disagreement in Argentina’s final World Cup group game against Poland.
Messi had appeared to have snubbed the Poland striker after he was fouled by the Barcelona forward but all that was settled after the final whistle.
Lewandowski and Messi would later chit-chat after the end of the intense game and the 33-year-old striker has now revealed his conversation with Lionel Messi, Barca Universal reports.

Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski has admitted he is relieved after Poland qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup knockout stages despite losing to Argentina, Tribal Football reports.
Lewandowski acknowledged that Poland's defeat to Lionel Messi's Argentina was a “happy defeat” as he prepares for the "great task" against France in the World Cup round of 16.
Poland reached the knockout stages on goal difference after Mexico’s 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia was not enough to lift them up to the second spot in Group C.

Lewandowski had fouled Messi towards the tail end of the last group C fixture at Stadium 974. The referee gave the foul and Lewandowski, in the spirit of good sportsmanship, reached out to Messi as if to offer an apology.
However, Messi stared right ahead and completely ignored the hand of the Polish captain.
