Former President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, has been slammed by fans after he was spotted watching the match between Brazil vs Switzerland at the ongoing World Cup.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup after losing the play-offs against Ghana. Many Nigerians are still battling with the pains of not playing in Qatar.

If there is one player Nigerians would have loved to see playing at the 2022 World Cup, that would be Napoli striker Victor Osimhen considering his performances so far this season.

Following the win over Switzerland, Brazil have now qualified for the knockout stage at the 2022 World Cup.

Brazil will face Cameroon in their last group G game.

Cameroon must win the match for them to have any hope.

Fans scramble to take selfies

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how a Neymar Jr look-alike caused a stir at Stadium 974 during Brazil's Group G World Cup clash against Switzerland.

Neymar was not part of the team that played the Monday, November 28, fixture, with the Paris Saint-Germain man currently sidelined with an ankle injury.

According to the Daily Mail, the 'fake' Neymar was caught on camera in the stands during halftime of the World Cup cracker.

Hawk-eyed fans inside the stadium were quick to spot the doppelganger, who appeared to be escorted by security staff in yellow bibs and lanyards.

Convinced that they had gotten up close and personal with the Paris Saint-Germain ace, fans clamoured to find their phones to take a selfie with the middle-aged man.
