Teko 'The General' Modise has made it clear who he believes will win the 2022 FIFA World Cup out in Qatar.

The cream is slowly rising to the top in the Middle East as the realistic challengers start stamping their authority on proceedings. The former Bafana Bafana captain has stated which which two teams out of this elite collection will contest the final on 18 December.

Speaking to Sports Brief, Modise said:

"I'm caught up in two minds. Brazil and Argentina... I think Brazil has a squad that, individually, they are on form, but Argentina, they have got a TEAM that is on form. That's the difference. Argentina, before losing yesterday, had 34 wins in a row, so I want to see them both in the final."

At the time of publication, Morocco had opened their account with a 0-0 draw against Croatia and were preparing to take on a formidable Belgium. Senegal lost their first match 2-0 to the Netherlands, before swatting aside hosts Qatar 3-1.
