Ronaldo, 37, looks set to leave Manchester United as the romance between player and club turned sour after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
He last featured for the Red Devils in the Premier League game against Aston Villa, which United lost 3-1.

The shirt he wore on the day is now being auctioned on matchwornshirt.com and the auction was set to close on Saturday, November 19.
SportBible has since reported the shirt found is the highest bidder, and sold for a staggering £39,000.
Ronaldo’s future
Following his explosive revelations on Piers Morgan’s show, Ronaldo now seems to have buried his Manchester United career.
Reports from Daily Star indicate United are ready to sue the superstar, and the process to terminate his lucrative contract are underway.
United themselves released a statement on Friday confirming that indeed the process to sever ties with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner had begun.
