Leicester City and England star James Maddison has described how Manchester United attacking midfielder Bruno Fernades helped him rediscover and improve his game.
Fernandes was impressive when he joined United from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020, catapulting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side to a top-four finish.
The Englishman has been in phenomenal form this season for the Foxes. He has helped Brendan Rodger's side move from the bottom of the table to 13th in the table after a horrible start.
The Portugal star netted 40 goals and provided 25 assists in his first season-and-a-half at Old Trafford. This was the period the England star started following Fernandes' game closely.

Fernandes influence on Maddison
The Foxes star has already scored seven Premier League goals this season and is set to make his World Cup debut, according to Transfermarkt.
According to MEN, the 25-year-old said that he watched the Portuguese closely.
"A couple of seasons ago, when I wasn’t in the England squad, Bruno Fernandes was playing very well for Manchester United and putting up ridiculous numbers in terms of goals and assists.”
He added that he watched every detail of Fernandes's game, including the movement he was making on the pitch.
“So I probably watched him a bit closer at that time. How is he scoring so many goals? What runs is he making that I’m not?"
Maddison faced an injury scare last weekend after being called up for the 2022 World Cup, but reports indicated that he would recover.
