Ronaldo's interview with the polarizing and controversial media personality Piers Morgan caused shockwaves in the world of football this week.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar called out United owners, manager Erik ten Hag and ex-teammate Wayne Rooney.

Fans were outraged by Ronaldo's comment about Ten Hag but were in agreement with his criticism of the Glazer ownership which he felt did not care about the footballing side at the club.
Varane responds to Ronaldo's comments
As many footballers converge in Qatar for the World Cup, Raphael Varane, Ronaldo's teammate at Madrid and now United said the 37-year-old remarks affect the team.
He added that the players try not to get involved in the sage.
“Obviously it affects us. We follow what is happening and what is being said. We try to calm the situation in our own way, we try not to get too involved in it," according to the Sun.
Ronaldo and Varane together won four Champions League titles at Real Madrid, and both signed for the Red Devils last season. The 37-year-old accused the club of betraying him, stressing that he does not respect Ten Hag, according to the BBC.
