“Olivier always tells me that Italy is a country that lives in one hundred percent football. He told me about the magic of derbies, the great celebration of the fans for the Scudetto. I would love to play with him also because he is a great friend.”
Pavard added that the competition in the Italian league was another tempting reason to play there. He explained that other France teammates, like Theo Hernandez and Adrien Rabiot, have also talked up how open the league is.
As noted by Bulinews, Pavard is growing frustrated with his role at Bayern Munich. The defender is unhappy that he is often deployed as a right-back, instead of his preferred centre-back position.
