Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Lionel Messi has joined the rest of his Argentina teammates in the United Arab Emirates as Lionel Scaloni’s team begins preparations for the World Cup.
Messi arrived at the Argentina camp in Abu Dhabi alongside Juventus pair Angel Di Maria and Leonardo Paredes, with just 6 days to the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Argentina has been scheduled to play against the UAE at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on Wednesday, November 16, in their only friendly match before their first group game in Qatar.
Messi will be hoping to lead Argentina to their third World Cup title in the Middle East, having already won the tournament twice in 1978 and 1986.
