After Madrid congratulated Vini Jr, Militão and Rodrygo on being selected for the Brazilian national team for the World Cup, Cádiz responded in brilliant fashion.

The team's social media account cheekily suggested that Madrid should rest the trio so that they would be fresh for the World Cup.

Giants vs Minnows

Cádiz are second from bottom on the table but are level on points with Celta Vigo and Sevilla above them. They are also seven points clear of Elche as well.

Madrid go into the encounter in second place on the La Liga table, trailing Barcelona by five points. With the league taking a break for the World Cup, a win for Madrid will still leave them two points behind Barca until the league resumes.

Spanish giants Real Madrid start the 2022/23 season with similar impressive statistics as the 2021/22 season

What makes Real Madrid so good? One of the reasons could be their consistency.

Sports Brief reported that Los Blancos have one of the most consistent teams in world football, constantly churning out win after win.

While they recently suffered their first defeat in La Liga to Rayo Vallecano, Madrid still boasts an impressive record from their opening 20 games of the season.
