Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori has led Orlando Pirates to their first title of 2022 after inspiring them to victory in the MTN Top 8 competition.
The Black Stars shot-stopper captained the South African giants to a 1-0 win against AmZulu at the Moses Mabhida stadium.
Monnapule Saleng's first half goal was enough as the Bucs won their 11th top eight championship title.
It is the second time Ofori is winning the title with Orlando Pirates, after joining joining the club in 2020 from Maritzburg United.

The 29-year-old has been named in Ghana's 55-man squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar later this month. Ofori is one of the leaders in Ghana's team and he is expected to be at the Mundial with the Black Stars.
What Richard Ofori said after the game
"I am very excited because this is my second MTN 8 trophy with the Buccaneer family. I am very excited.
"I thank God for making me part of the 55-man provisional squad for the World Cup.
"This is the moment we were all looking for. We thank the supporters, we thank families, the management, the coach and the playing body. We have been through a lot this season and we thank God we have made it today."

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the disappointment of the Soweto Derby has been forgotten quickly by Orlando Pirates.
The Buccaneers defeated AmaZulu 1-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening. Pirates' solitary goal came from the red-hot Monnapule Saleng, who intentionally fired the ball home past a bemused Veli Mothwa in the 25th minute of a scrappy and tense final. Orlando Pirates did enough to see off AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The rest of the match was a tense and scrappy affair as both teams struggled to gain rhythm. However, Pirates' strong defence enveloped Usuthu as the 'home' team sought the equaliser in front of King Misuzulu of the Zulu nation.
