Carlo Ancelotti and Jose Mourinho are some of the most successful football managers ever. The former has a slight advantage, having won multiple trophies across all the top five European leagues, but Mourinho also has a reputable CV.
Despite all the rivalry on the touchlines, they have remained close friends. Ancelotti is currently at Real Madrid, while Mourinho is at AS Roma.
Ancelotti has lavished praise on Mourinho's intelligence, as Roma Press reports:
"I’ve known Jose for many years and I think Roma has changed him. It’s a perfect marriage for him and for Roma. He’s one of the greats of football. He’s changed a lot, but he hasn’t changed in terms of his honesty and intelligence."

Both are former Chelsea managers
The two managers have a deep history, having coached both Chelsea and Real Madrid. Mourinho led Roma to the Conference League last season, while Ancelotti ditched Everton to guide Real Madrid to a record 14th Champions League crown.
The 63-year-old also led the Los Blancos to the La Liga title, with Karim Benzema having a wonderful individual season.
Mourinho will be hoping to guide Roma back to the very top of Italian football. His side currently lie 4th on the table.
