Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed Germany’s first-choice goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer has recovered in time for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Neuer has been out for one month after picking up a shoulder injury in Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga tie against Borussia Dortmund on October 8, which ended 2-2 at the Allianz Arena.
According to the Daily Mail, Nagelsmann confirmed Neuer will play against Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday, as long as there are no setbacks in the last training session.
"We waited for as long as needed for him to be pain-free again. There's always a certain risk, but he and the doctors have given the green light. Something can always happen."

Neuer is one of many German players expected to be fit in time for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with fellow Bayern Munich teammates Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller still nursing injuries.

Meanwhile, it’s not all good news for Germany as RB Leipzig forward, Timo Werner has been ruled out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup through injury, ESPN reports.
The 26-year-old, who has 24 goals in 55 appearances for the German national team, picked up an ankle injury in RB Leipzig’s 4-0 Champions League victory against Shakhtar Donetsk.
